NFL Week #17 - Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

Ravens Cheerleaders

LuraBack in December Baltimore Ravens Cheerleader Joanna suffered a small break in her shoulder at practice. So to fill in her spot, Lura, who was on the first Ravens stunt team 12 years ago, filled in. The thirty-eight year old mother of three suited up for the Steelers game and for the season finale against the Jaguars.

Unfortunately, Lura was not one of the Cheerleaders performing outside on Unitas Plaza, so I have no photos of her in action so we'll have to make due with this photo of her from the University of Maryland where she is the head cheerleading coach and has led her squad to four National Championships.

I think that's it for me for the NFL this season. Neither the Eagles nor the Ravens can host a playoff game, so I am getting ready to move on to the NBA, indoor football and lacrosse. Of course, it's already time to start thinking about NFL tryouts. Auditions for the Ravens Cheerleaders Dance and Stunt Teams are Saturday, March 7th. Full details here.
