Redskins Cheerleaders Around Town

Last Saturday Mid-Atlantic Dave braved the snow and lived up to his name by making the journey to Maryland and Virginia to cover appearances by the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders.

First up Brittni and Kelly making an appearance at the Wal*Mart Hyattsville, MD to promote a book drive to benefit the Art Monk Youth Power Center.

Brittni is a sophomore at Catholic University where she is majoring in Media Studies.

Kelly works as contractor for the Federal Government. In addition, she teaches at two dance studios, sings in a band, and is the artistic director/dancer in the nonprofit dance company "The Capitol Movement Project."

Then it was off to see Eileen and Toccara at the AT&T Store in Springfield Commons.

Secon-year veteran Eileen works in the Human Resources field for a non-profit organization, and is a graduate of George Mason University.

Toccara graduated from University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism, and cheered for the Baltimore Ravens for three seasons.

Dave's day concluded in Arlington at the Pentagon City Mall where Abby and Michelle S. were part of the Nordstrom Retrosport Event.

Four-year Abby trained at the Metropolitan Ballet Theater studying ballet, jazz, modern and tap. She attended the University of Arizona as a dance major and performed with their Dance Ensemble. She's currently a member of Capitol Movement, Inc., a dance company that believes in diversity and “Dance for All.”

Six-year veteran Michelle S. is graduate of University of Maryland with a Bachelors in Business Marketing and works for the Department of Homeland Security.
