For those of you who sat through a painfully long offseason and preseason waiting impatiently, congratulations - your time has almost come. The NFL regular season begins very soon on Thurs night Sept 4! So what have we learned since the Glendale AZ Super Bowl? Brett Favre commands the world, Chad Johnson is now Chad Ocho Cinco, and Matt Leinart is still useful with a beer bong. After observing the final exhibition game of the AZ Cards, what do I have to report from the actual game? Not much since the first-string starters promptly benched to avoid injury. But ultimately, in this game after some disastrous turnovers by the 4th string bench warmers late in the 4th quarter, the home team Arizona Cardinals lost and concluded preseason with a .500 record. Obviously preseason game reports is not the reason why readers log onto the Pro Cheerleader blog! We are grateful that the 1st string-starters Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders gave a maximum effort at this game and every game.
Miss Photogenic Cheerleader of the week is Jennalee. Look at those golden locks flowing through the air!
Whitney, the champion of the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders, enthusiastically awaits the kickoff.
Captain Tara leads her line during a dance. She looks confident that everyone is ready for the regular season.
Smiling rookie Lindsay strikes a pose during a timeout. Imagine the excitement if the Cardinals contend for the playoffs.
With that smile, I cannot imagine what might dampen the enthusiasm of veteran Brittany.
Captain Angie completes a routine. I doubt there is a cheerleader in the NFL with more enthusiasm than her.
Kathy jumps for joy as the Arizona Cardinals complete a touchdown pass. The starters looked marvelous in limited play.
Even Megan F. cannot hide her giddiness as the place-kicker converts the P.A.T. (point after touchdown)
Captain Neeley waves at the stadium, halfway empty. Season ticketholders are often no-shows during exhibition play.
Tamar cant even bear to look as the game comes to a conclusion. Cardinals management will now make challenging decisions as which players to bench and which players to cut off the roster.
Jump For Joy! Quarterback Matt Leinart celebrates a TD reception with his tight end as he is demoted to second-string for poor play.
Former Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver Jamaica Rector attempts an acrobatic catch. Hours later, he was fired.
