NFL Pre-season Week #2 - Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

Posted by James at 10:00 AM ET

Saturday night at M&T Stadium the Ravens hosted the Minnesota Vikings. I have a vague recollection that the team wearing purple was victorious. I was concentrating instead on the debut of the 2008-09 Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders.

It's good friend of the blog, Beverly! Beverly hung up her pom poms, but you can still find her at the stadium on game day. She's now working with the Ravens Marketing Team overseeing the Playmakers on game day. She says she still has a great view of the game and now she gets to watch all of the Cheerleaders hard work in Action!

Tom & Erin
Stunt partners Tom and Erin. I don't think I've ever met anybody more enthusiastic than Tom. He was clearly thrilled and excited to be cheering at his first NFL game. Tom's a graduate of George Washington University where he was on the cheerleading squad. He cheered both at basketball games and competitively. In his Junior year the GW Cheerleaders finished fourth at Nationals and in his Senior year they finished third.

Still outside the stadium it's another long time blog friend: Lindi who's now in her third year cheering for the Ravens

Inside the stadium the dance team danced....

And the stunt team stunted....

And I ran into a few more friends...

L-r: Talmesha (former Ravens Cheerleader, current Redskins Cheerleader), Rob (retired Ravens Cheerleader), Jamilla (6-year veteran and Redskins Cheerleader Captain). Poor Rob is going to think I am stalking him; it's the second day in a row I've run into him.

The rest of the photos are in the gallery. (Lots of unidentified Cheerleaders; I blame the webmaster of Ravens.com, because there's no Cheerleader roster to work from)
