NFL Week #16 - Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders

Posted by James at 5:54 AM ET

It's a little late but Max in Arizona sent us photos of the Cards Cheerleaders in their Holiday uniforms performing during week #16.

Call It a Christmas Miracle, AZ wins in OT
by Max

It's been a great year for the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders! From bringing in the New Year in Hong Kong, shooting a swimsuit calendar in Mexico, and being role models in the community volunteering in many ways. On the field, the ACC was a big factor as the Cardinals had a sparkling home record. Its no surprise that they were so lousy on the road without their support. I hope that many/all of these talented girls found Super Bowl XLII tickets in their Xmas stockings!

What happened in the Atlanta Falcons game? The Cardinals rallied in a 30-27 come-from-ahead overtime victory. Laces were out apparently as kicker Neil Rackers executed two clutch kicks. During the second half, the weather became uncomfortably cold. I'm sure many who read this blog are familiar with a superstition when cheerleaders change into warmups mid-game, the team will fall behind and lose. We all would like to thank the girls for braving the chilly elements!

But the story of the game was the new holiday outfits unveiled (third uniform of 2007!) More dazzling and sparkly than seasons previous, it put everyone in the Christmas spirit. I'm sure it hasn't gone unnoticed how the team was 3-0 when the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders wore themed costumes. Like the twelve days of Xmas, here are twelve ladies a-leaping.

The sun shines upon a smiling Jessica as the game begins. I wish I could have her cheering in front for the entire game.

Nicole tosses her permed locks over her head. The twins have become the fan favorite in our section and for this blog contributor.

Brooke is the All-American dream with blue eyes and flowing blonde hair.

Even though we wont see the Cardinals in the playoffs next year, we hope that Susan will bring home a championship in next year's cheerleader playoffs.

Unlike the football players, Angie always brings her A-game to the sidelines.

Pro Bowl Kathy keeps a keen eye on the dancer in her line off on her routines.

Big smiles on Wisconsin Badger alumna Megan K as we hope Bucky can complete a third consecutive 10-win season winning the Outback Bowl.

Platinum blonde, steely eyed Amanda finishes her routine.

I would like to go Christmas caroling with Inessa who's got a voice more powerful than Jordin Sparks.

Heart-throb Savannah urges the crowd to get excited after the Falcons took a lead late in the 4th quarter. Our girls never give up hope.

After winning the toss in overtime, the Cardinals march into field goal range and seal the deal in sudden death OT. Rookie Sensation Brittani approves.

Even as the Cardinals complete yet another disappointing season missing the playoffs, Rookie Sensation Taryn encourages us to come back for more!

A few weeks back at an away game AZ Cards viewing party, I was surprised to be recognized by Jessica. It was flattering to know that she (and apparently others) appreciated the photo contributions to the blog. I am definitely inspired to keep submitting. My apologies that I was tardy mailing in this week's report! Jessica also let me know that the Show Team will be making a grand tour around the Pacific Rim.
