“The Silverbacks have a great three-year history already and an impressive involvement in the community”, says Morgan. “They are a solid club with great talent, both in terms of players, management, coaching staff and cheerleaders. It is a pleasure to add a little fresh choreography into an already entertaining and exciting family football experience.”

She studies annually in Los Angeles with the top Hollywood choreographers for artists including Beyonce, Usher, Timbaland, Christina Aguilera, Diddy, JLo, Stomp the Yard, Hairspray and High School Musical among others. She has also studied classical music and theatre since age seven and adds this knowledge to the teachings the children receive in dance class. Under her guidance, Expressions Competitive Teams have won many titles, including national championships, world qualifiers, and special medals for artistry, choreography and costuming. This fall, her studio dancers performed at the NBA Detroit Pistons season Home Opener in Detroit. Her competitive teams are also going to Walt Disney World in Florida in February 2008 to perform on-stage at the Magic Kingdom.
“We are excited to add someone with Elizabeth’s experience and enthusiasm to the Silverback family,” President Matthew King said. “We believe her knowledge will lead to the Silverbabes becoming one of the most entertaining cheerleading squads in the CIFL.”
Morgan adds that cheerleaders for this season will be expected to be good ambassadors for the football club by participating in community and charity events as well as performing at games. Plans are also underway for junior cheerleaders to do a special workshop and game-day show. More information on the Junior Silverbabes will be available shortly.
“This will be a new season for the Silverbabes, building on the past few years and adding some additional elements to the team on-field presentation,” Morgan said. “We will have some dedicated returning veterans on the squad and will welcome skilled newcomers.”
The Silverbacks are looking for fit, talented, personable and professional young women ages 19+ to audition for their squad on December 8th. Candidates must have gymnastics, dance or cheer skills, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible schedule. Pre-registration and tryout information will be available shortly.
“It’s all about giving the fans a great time at home games,” Morgan adds. “They are the ones who come to see you and we want them to have something special and memorable to take away from their game day experience.”
