Bengals.com: One of our 4th year veterans Adrienne was inducted into The Northern Kentucky High School Athletic Directors Hall Of Fame (1984-2007) on September 26, 2007. The Twenty Fifth Annual Hall of Fame Induction Banquet took place at the Embassy Suites in Covington, Kentucky.

Although we proclaim that cheerleading is a sport, Adrienne was not inducted for her skills on the sidelines. In fact, she had an impressive high school and college career in track and field.
    Adrienne’s bio:

“The resume of Adrienne is an impressive one that extends from her amazing high school career at Dayton High School to her current accomplishments and career.

The 1994 Girl’s Famous Star of The Year enjoyed a high school athletic career for the Greendevils that has never been equaled.

Even today she holds a stat KHSAA record of 14.7 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles.

Before Adrienne’s extraordinary high school career in track and field was over, she was recipient of 20, yes 20 State Championships.

She was a three time State Champion in the 300 Meter Intermediate Hurdles, a three time State Champion in the 800 Meter Relay, a four time State Champion in the 400 Meter Dash and a four time State Champion in the 100 Meter Hurdles.

However, it was the 4 by 400 Meter Relay that she owned for six years winning every year from the 7th Grade thru her Senior Season.

She was NKAC Runner of the Year as well as Northern KY runner of the year in 1994.

Following graduation she earned a full scholarship to Marshall University Where she won the conference in the 400 hurdles in 1997 and holds two records in college for the 4x400 relay and the Heptathlon.

She was featured in 2006 as a Sports Legend on ICN6.

She graduated from Marshall in 1998 with a BA in Liberal Arts (Criminal Justice). She works for Baker Concrete and is a nursing student at NKU. In her spare time she is in her 4th year as an NFL cheerleader for the Cincinnati BenGals. She was recently part of a group that traveled to Italy and Egypt to entertain the troops performing seven shows in ten days.”

What the bio neglected to mention is that on top of maintaining a full time job, being a full time student and holding a part time cheerleader position, Adrienne is a full time mother! She is an extraordinary example of how Professional Cheerleaders continue to “break the mold” and “blaze new trails.” Again, we are more than what you see on the field. With diverse backgrounds and limitless career paths we continue to set positive examples for our communities.

Congratulations Adrienne!
