Former Nashville Pretadors Dancer Amanda won the heart of tennis star of Mark Philippoussis.

From the Sydney Morning Herald

"About 6 million Americans tuned in to watch the finale of Philippoussis's Bachelor-style dating show, Age of Love. Billed as a dating experiment, the 13 women battling for the tennis professional's heart were aged between 21 and 48. The women in their 20s were dubbed kittens and the 40-year-olds branded cougars. So did he pick a cougar or a kitten?"

The finale came down to two women on either end of the scale. They were 48-year-old Jennifer, a twice-married Los Angeles mother of a 25-year-old son, and Amanda, a curvy 26-year-old cheerleader from Tennessee. Philippoussis picked Amanda.

The man nicknamed Scud flew Amanda and Jennifer to Melbourne to visit his mother, Rosana, and sister Maria, before making the final decision.

Rosana gave the thumbs up to Amanda because she was shy, unlike the chirpy cougar. "I don't know what life has in store for us," Philippoussis said. "I don't know at all. But let's begin this journey."
