MDX Reds Crew Official Blog: Allison Leonard, MDX Reds Crew Director is excited to announce that her MDX Reds Crew have been invited to visit the soldiers at Fort Lewis (Washington state) June 22nd through June 24th. Maggie and Ashley will be proudly representing the Reds Crew as they bring their passion for Cincinnati Reds baseball to the Northwest. They will be keeping very busy during their visit meeting war-injured soldiers at the base hospital, visiting soldiers at both the military police station and the naval base, and holding two formal autograph signings.
The Reds Crew is the first MLB cheer/dance squad in history to be invited to visit a US military base. This coming July members of the Reds Crew will be traveling again, this time to Fort Huachuca (Arizona) which is a military intelligence training center. The Reds Crew are both thrilled and honored to be working with the United States Military this season and look forward to being even more involved in years to come.
