TULUM, Mexico, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Philadelphia Eagles
Cheerleaders arrived yesterday at Dreams Resort in Tulum, Mexico, for the
annual Eagles Cheerleaders calendar shoot. Included in the delegation was
world renowned photographer Steve Vaccariello, named by Nikon as one of the
top 50 photographers in the U.S.
Located south of Cancun and nestled in the Mexican Riviera Maya, the
resort's powder white sand beaches, Caribbean blue sea and tropical
landscapes serve as a spectacular backdrop to showcase the beauty and
fitness of the 38 young women who make up the 2007 squad. The trip is
facilitated by Apple Vacations, sponsor of the Philadelphia Eagles
The squad will participate in a variety of resort activities, open to
guests, including dance performances, beach games, and meet and greet
sessions. This will be the fifth calendar shoot and a reunion of the
original five Eagles calendar cover girls will take place for a special
shoot on Wednesday, May 9.
International visits made by the Eagles Cheerleaders have included Bosnia, Hong Kong and, most recently, England as part of an NFL promotional tour of the UK. The cheerleaders also participated in NFL events this February during Super Bowl weekend in Miami. They are frequently featured in national publications, including MAXIM and FHM Magazine and perform at Lincoln Financial Field for over 68,000 fans at Eagles home games, wearing uniforms designed by Vera Wang.
