MDX Reds Crew Supports Cystic Fibrosis Research and Care

The members of the Cincinnati Reds MDX Reds Crew had a great time at a recent CureFinders assembly at Columbia Elementary School. CureFinders is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's new school fund-raising program for grades K-12. Students compete to see who can raise the most money in their school to help support cystic fibrosis (CF) research and care. Their goals include raising awareness and funds for Cystic Fibrosis treatment, build leadership skilsl and strong values, and encourage students to develop an interest in health and science. develop an understanding and interest in the health and science arenas.

During the Curefinders awards assembly, the MDX Reds Crew performed the 'Life Is a Highway' routine and gave their appreciation for the efforts put forth to raise $6,000 for the CFF! They raffled off Reds tickets donated by the Reds Community Fund and distributed poms/t-shirts to the elementary students. At the end of the program, the Reds Crew and the students performed "YMCA."
