Ultimate Cheerleaders (The First Five Years)

The Kansas City Brigade announced the names of the 2006-07 Brigade Girls on Monday. And there's an extra bit of good news - the team has expanded from 25 during their inaugural season, to 32 this year. Director Gretchen Bretz must be doing something right.

Last week, Metro Sports asked Brigade fans vote for their favorite candidate, Jaci, Rachel, Kasey, or Amber, to make the squad. Over 15,000 people voted and Kasey was named Fan Favorite. Go Kasey! Jaci, Amber, and Rachel must have been pretty terrific too, because they also made the team. They will join 12 veterans and 17 other rookies on the field at Kemper Arena this season. Congratulations!
